This is the year I am going to get organized I actually say it twice a year. Every January and every August. It has yet to happen.
I have to register T for kindergarten this month. I made his doctors appointment, found his shot record (which he is so far behind on) and I went to get his birth certificate, it wasn’t there. I REMEMBER putting all four birth certificates in the folder labeled JJ(truth be told it’s labeled with her full first name). I remember thinking as I did it, it would be easier to have everything in the same folder. So as I opened this folder wasn’t I surprised to only see JJ’s birth certificate. So I looked through all the other personal folders. I found Wy’s SS card, nobody elses. So where the heck is everything? I have looked in baby books, drawers, other folders,more drawers. How do you lose 3 birth certificates and 3 SS cards? You tell me? HOW? I can’t think of any other place they would be or why I would use them? The only time I have ever needed them was to register for kindergarten. I had to order G’s the month before registration, then I had to do the same for Wy. Wasn’t I so proud when I actually ordered T’s after he was born? Yes, yes I was. Now it looks like I will be rush ordering T’s for registration. 3 strikes, I’m out.
I also blame my lack of organization on these children….
We had a fantastic time at Dave and Busters last night. It’s fun BUT their store where you buy things with tickets is SO LAME! It’s all crap or it cost 500 tickets. One reason we only go their twice a year.
Oh and I think their weighing tickets is a scam also. Next time I am counting before they weigh.
